5️⃣ trends shaping up the hospitality and travel industry today:

✔️ Despite the market uncertainty, it seems clear that we are all eager to hop back on a trip, be it for leisure or for business.

✔️ Business travel is back, with the *bleisure* trend evolving in favour of *workcation*. We've gone from smaller trips, frequently to longer stays infrequently (i.e 61-90 days) 🙌🏽

✔️ Sustainable travel is a priority. We've gone from cost-conscious to becoming eco-conscious.

✔️ Regular communication from the airlines and hoteliers throughout the travel journey is key. This is particularly important as it influences the experience (i.e. update on check-in measures at airport, available/reduced facilities in hotels, cleaning, breakfast arrangements etc)

✔️ Events are back, albeit postponed but still on the map. There’s an increased opportunity for Hoteliers to market their facilities for smaller events I.e. internal team meetings/trainings, remote workers spaces, use of courtyard area etc.
